Another big win from our Juniors, these lads are on a roll well done to Johnny, Jim and boys keep it going.

Nothing between the sides until Willie Dunne scored after 20 mins with a great strike from 25 yards .Very even game throughout with an all round great team performance in a game played in terrible conditions

Firstly thank you to the parents, your support is much appreciated.

A fantastic win today at Newhill.

With a squad of 16 today, I'll try to keep this brief.Our starting line up was Adam (GK), defenders Liam, Keane, Ciaran and Robert. Midfield was Zack, Chris, Francis and Jack. Forwards were Hichem and Darragh. Subs for today were Taidgh, Callum, Bassem, Keane 'O and Gavin.

We got a dream start with Darragh scoring in the first minute with a tap in after chris and Francis combined to close down their opposite numbers and then released Jack who got the ball in for Darragh to finish. 4 minutes later it was the turn of Chris to bag a goal for himself after bursting through from midfield. After that the game settled somewhat with both teams cancelling each other out, and whilst we did press it wasn't until the 31st minute that Darragh doubled his tally. Half time 0-3.

The second half saw us start very brightly indeed. At this stage subs Taidgh, Callum and Bassem were involved and were all having a positive contribution to the game. Within 3 minutes, Darragh had completed his hat trick. On 5, Chris had again scored with an unstoppable shot into the goalkeepers bottom left corner. 3 minutes later, Zack was rewarded for his great work on the wing when he cut in and finished smartly. Darragh then made it 4 for him and 7 for the team on 16 minutes. For me, the goal of the day was next. From 25 yards, Jack casually strolled up, and from the goalkeepers right buried it into the opposite bottom corner. Berkhamp would have been proud.

Darragh however wasn't finished and added number 5 on 16 minutes. How he's not on the Kennedy cup squad baffles me....

Keane 'O then provided the assist for Zack to double his tally for the day. Francis finished off the scoring with a fine left footed effort.

Nothing much to say about the back 5, they dealt with everything and provided the platform going forward. Their contribution is not to be underestimated....and doesn't go unnoticed by the other players, or Gerry and I.

Man of the Match today was Chris, a leader in midfield carrying out defensive and offensive duties all day.....and topped off a fine performance with 2 goals.

Big shout to Nathan today for helping Gerry and myself today.

A bit of a mix up with communication but his valuable contribution on the pitch will be needed going forward in the final run in to the season.

Cahir Park LMS Round 3 Results 33 go through to round 4 with most playing safe on Man City and 2 got in with a late penalty from Liverpool. 4 Knocked out with 3 on Newcastle and 1 on Chelsea.

Congratulations to Cahir Camogie Club who are All Ireland Champions, Great achievement Well done to everyone involved.Enjoy the celebrations from everyone in Cahir Park AFC.
